The stained glass motif can be continued through as pattern inspiration for cakes, invitation suites, and table centerpieces. Stained glass is a clever way to mix old world charm with modern clean lines. You can also ask your lighting designer about a stained glass pattern to be splashed onto the reception area as well to really take it from dinner to dancing.
Bringing the Indoors Out(side)
We've seen this trend over the last couple of years, but it is in no way slowing down. Couples no longer have to decide whether they want the coziness of indoor or the freshness of the natural world. Now we are seeing indoor furniture being used outside. Think rugs as aisle runners, welcome mirrors, dressers as sign-in tables, desks as cake stands, and even chandeliers in the trees! A lounge with sofas and cushions can also provide a transition area during the cocktail hour, especially if one part of the wedding is inside and the other out. If you are having a wedding in the woods, but want to include a family heirloom, do it!
