You won't want to plan your wedding without checking out these wedding trends for 2020: Part 1
Updated: Nov 8, 2019
In an ongoing series through the end of the year, we are going to spotlight the big wedding trends that we are seeing flood the industry, markets, and the runway. Creative is the word of the year. We started seeing this shift in 2019, but next year couples are will go even farther to make their event their own. Gone is the age where every couple has a white tiered wedding cake with fondant and matching bridesmaids in pastel pink ruffles, now wedding couples are making their wedding unique to them and memorable to the guests. Those getting married in 2020 are already into the planning stages, and we are stoked to share with you what they are choosing for their big day.
Clear and Open Decor
Following the ongoing trend towards outdoor ceremonies, we will see more open air wedding decor and backdrops (even chapels themselves!) to let the natural beauty of the location spill through.
Following the clear and open trend, lucite is popping up everywhere adding a splash of modern chic to weddings of all themes and styles. Part of lucite's popularity is its versatility. Add a touch of gilded gold to it for refined romance or some palms for boho elegance. Lucite can be used for escort cards, seating charts, floral arrangements, and many couples are using lucite chairs for their reception. Here is some inspiration if you are considering lucite for your big event.
